Field 14 For Generic 2, field 14 must always be translated. Field encodes and their

descriptions are:

(Dash) required when ISDN is not provided. Current policy is to always ship

ISDN-PRI software with the switch. However, the administration software still

provides the option to assign this software as unprovided.

Must be translated when ISDN is provided but not active DISABLED.

Must be translated to ENABLE ISDN service.

Use this procedure to turn on optional networking features such as AAR, DCS, SNC, and Look-
